The Toshiba TCS40DLR is a highly reliable digital Hall Effect magnetic sensor designed for a wide range of industrial, consumer, and automotive applications. With its omnipolar detection capability, the TCS40DLR can sense both the north and south poles of a magnet, making it versatile and easy to design into compact systems.
Engineered for low power consumption, this sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, consuming as little as 7.3 µA typical at 2.3 V, making it ideal for portable electronics, IoT devices, and battery-powered systems.
The device features an open-drain output that allows flexible interface with microcontrollers and logic circuits through an external pull-up resistor.
