Description

The Worldsemi WS2811 is a 3-channel constant-current LED driver IC designed for controlling RGB LEDs in addressable lighting systems. It integrates signal decoding, data reshaping, and constant current driving into a single chip, making it ideal for individually addressable LED strips and modules.

The WS2811 uses a single-wire communication protocol, allowing multiple LEDs to be cascaded and controlled independently with minimal wiring. Each IC controls three output channels (typically Red, Green, and Blue), enabling dynamic lighting effects such as color chasing, fading, and animations.
